Day 1: Riverside Music Flower Sea Park – Mucheng Scenic Area – Xiaoqiaogang Landscape Belt – Yuyi Yangtze River Wetland Park

If you ask me where to get a close-up view of the Yangtze River, I would unreservedly recommend Riverside Music Flower Sea Park. This is not only an excellent spot to see the Jiangyin Yangtze River Bridge, but it also boasts a stunning colorful flower sea. Even in autumn, you can see a vibrant spring-like scene here, with colorful flowers dancing in the breeze against the backdrop of the distant Jiangyin Yangtze Bridge, resembling a natural oil painting.

Mucheng Park, as the "green lung" of Jingjiang, will not disappoint you! The abundance of vegetation here exceeds your imagination. Whether it's the refreshingly sweet osmanthus, the tall and straight Zhongshan fir, or the graceful hibiscus, you will always find your favorite! What surprised me most was the metasequoia forest. Walking deep into it, you see giant metasequoia trees standing on the water, like a fairy tale wonderland!

Jingjiang's Binjiang New City has a beautiful waterfront landscape corridor: Xiaoqiaogang Landscape Belt. Take a boat trip with your loved one on a unique water journey, and enjoy the best views of Xiaoqiaogang's waterscape. Passing under Xinzhou Bridge, you will see the small architectural installations along the waterfront street. Buildings such as Vanke Impression City, Chenyangli Commercial Circle, Financial Center, Cultural Arts Center, and Ronghu Library showcase Jingjiang's modern and trendy vitality!

As the boat sails deeper, a wide expanse opens up. The water space and the elevated bike path attract visitors to disembark and explore. Strolling beside the elevated bike path, I unexpectedly found a dreamy pink muhly grass, emitting a hazy glow under the sunlight.

Taking advantage of the setting sun, we drove to Yuyi Yangtze River Wetland Park. This is not only a Yangtze River wetland park integrating water activities, sports, sightseeing, and entertainment, but also a perfect place to enjoy the sunset. The pristine environment allows you to get close to nature. Occasionally, birds fly across the sky. Walking on the boardwalk against the sunset, enjoy Jingjiang's slow-paced life.

Day 2: Shengci Liyuan – Gushan Scenic Area – Jishi Red Maple Forest

Shengci Liyuan, known as a popular internet-famous spot in Jiangsu, is perfect for families to enjoy autumn colors! As soon as you enter the park, you will be impressed by the beauty of Chinese gardens. The park features the essence of Suzhou, Yangzhou, and Huizhou architectural styles, perfectly combining human dwellings with natural beauty. In addition, in autumn, you can see patches of persimmon forests, with persimmons hanging among green leaves, very tempting!

As the only mountain in Taizhou and Jingjiang, Gushan, though only 55.6 meters above sea level, has become an iconic landmark. Climbing up the stone steps, you will see a shining temple: Gushan Temple. The temple features upturned eaves and carved beams. At the back mountaintop, there is the "Wangjiang Tower" (River-viewing Tower). If you ascend the tower and look into the distance, the panoramic view of Jingjiang unfolds before your eyes! Although the former glory of Gushan has faded with time, the accumulated history and culture are still worth exploring. Coming here, you will experience the profoundness of Jingjiang's history.

In the evening, we arrived at Jishi, an ancient village full of local life in Jingjiang. Here, you will find not only ancient bluestone-paved roads and delicious local snacks but also enchanting maple forests. Every autumn, the 5,000 mu of maple forest turns red overnight, shimmering with golden light under the sun. In October, some maple trees have already started to turn red. I believe by November, you will see a magnificent red maple forest scene! Don't miss it!
