Xinghua Qianduo Scenic Area Adds New Live Show: Crabs, Chrysanthemums, Music and Food Festival is Amazing!

I had long heard from friends about Qianduo Scenic Area. Now I have personally seen the picturesque Qianduo Scenic Area. Standing on the high corridor bridge viewing platform, the endless natural landforms of Qianduo, with each separated mound like floating islands on water. In spring, one sees rapeseed flowers; after the Double Ninth Festival, autumn arrives, and one can enjoy the sight of yellow chrysanthemums and plump crabs, experiencing the beauty of the Lixiahe water town's humanistic ecology.

Chrysanthemums are interwoven around the ditches and rivers to form mound fields. By digging mud from the swamps, they create mound after mound of fields, resulting in uniquely shaped and sized plots. On each mound, flowers bloom in red, yellow, green, and many other brilliant colors, dressing the earth in a colorful autumn coat. The rows of Qianduo adorn the mound fields in a particularly pleasing manner. In the ponds, crabs, Longxiang taro, water chestnuts, and water-grown peanuts can be tasted as delicious delicacies.

Qianduo Scenic Area is famous worldwide. It has been honored with titles such as 'National Most Beautiful Rapeseed Flower Sea', 'China's Beautiful Rural Landscape', 'Jiangsu Province Four-Star Rural Tourism Area', 'TV and Film Shooting Base', and 'Jiangsu's Most Beautiful Water Landmark'. It is now also a base for photography enthusiasts and artistic sketching.

This year, the scenic area has added a live show that reflects the local history, culture, and regional customs. The spacious stage is surrounded by colorful chrysanthemums and water scenery. The large screen's imagery of 'Yi Nian Qian Duo' deeply moved the audience. A small wooden boat glides gently, and the stirring music accompanies the recitation of a poem—Zheng Banqiao's 'Daoqing': 'Old fisherman, with one fishing rod. Leaning against the cliff, beside the bay. A small boat comes and goes without hindrance, gulls dot the gentle waves afar, reeds rustle in the cold daylight. Singing loudly at sunset, suddenly the waves shake golden shadows, and looking up, the moon rises over the eastern mountain.' The performance of the old fisherman and the music provide the audience with great visual and auditory enjoyment.

The large-scale stage play is grand in scale and impressive in formation. Professional actors and local villagers working in the scenic area perform a perfect blend of story and real scenery, drawing applause and praise.

During the Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day holidays, be sure to travel to Xinghua in Taizhou to see the beautiful Qianduo. From September 26 to October 6, the 'Crab Tasting and Chrysanthemum Appreciation Music and Food Festival' has performances every day. Visuals and cuisine tell stories everywhere in Qianduo, softly chanting the rhythm of time. Strolling through the sea of flowers, feeling the beauty of nature, my heart flows with praise for autumn.
