Winter Visit to Diaohua Tower

Winter Visit to Diaohua Tower

📍 Queenstown · 👁 78 reads

Winter has arrived. Although the temperature has dropped, the Diaohua Tower feels even more like an ancient street. It just so happened that today there was a heavy snowfall, so I came with my family to take a stroll around the Diaohua Tower and enjoy the snow scenery. Watching the snowflakes fall against the backdrop of the ancient street must be a truly unique experience.

There were only a few scattered people on the street, but everyone's face was brimming with happy smiles—perhaps that's the charm of snowfall.

Both inside and outside the Diaohua Tower, the greenery was wrapped in a thick blanket of snow, clad in silver and white, extraordinarily beautiful. Against the snowy landscape, the Diaohua Tower appeared elegantly poised and strikingly charming. The parking lot at the Diaohua Tower is quite spacious, making parking very convenient, so you can simply navigate directly to the Diaohua Tower parking lot. After getting out of the car and walking along the street, the heavy snow drifted past overhead, as if time itself had stood still. I wandered around, taking in the slow-paced life of this water town.

The most famous features of the Diaohua Tower are the 'One Bridge, Two Streets, Three Temples, and Four Residences.' The 'One Bridge' refers to the Qingyuan Bridge within the Diaohua Tower. Standing on the bridge and gazing at the beautiful scenery of the Diaohua Tower fills one with longing. The 'Two Streets' are the most prosperous Qingyuan Street and Jiefang Street in the Diaohua Tower. In the old days, these two streets were lined with shops and were the busiest; nowadays, there are still many shops, and they remain the central area of our locality. The 'Three Temples' are the Temple of the God of Wealth, the Temple of Lord Guan, and the City God Temple, where incense is abundant during various festivals. The 'Four Residences' are the Ancient Diaohua Tower, the Sun Residence, the Qi Residence, and the Li Xinchang Transfer House—the core attractions.

Standing on the Qingyuan Bridge, you can see the Waterwheel of Fortune in the distance. The waterwheel symbolizes abundant harvests and rolling wealth, and it is also a landmark of the Diaohua Tower. Every visitor to the Diaohua Tower takes a photo in front of the waterwheel, praying for a year full of happiness.

The visitor center at the Diaohua Tower is clean and tidy, with spotless windows. The staff are responsible and enthusiastic, willing to answer any questions you may have. They make every visitor to the Diaohua Tower feel truly at home.
