The 'Chang' and 'Tai' in the Changtai Yangtze River Bridge, the World's Largest-Span Road-Rail Cable-Stayed Bridge Under Construction
Currently under construction, the Changtai Yangtze River Bridge is the world's largest-span road-rail cable-stayed bridge. It is an important project of the comprehensive three-dimensional transportation corridor of the Yangtze River Economic Belt, connecting the cities of Changzhou and Taixing. The project starts at Liuxu Port Avenue in Taixing City, crosses the main channel of the Yangtze River, passes through Lu'an Islet, crosses the Yangtze River tributary, and ends at Gangqu Avenue in Changzhou City. It is a 'three-in-one' river crossing passage integrating expressways, intercity railways, and first-class highways.
