Five Heroines' Three-Day Tour of Zoigê and Jiuzhaigou
On the first day, we set off from Chengdu Xinjin at 6 a.m. and took the ring road. At night, we stayed in a tent outside Flower Lake. Five people shared one tent for 150 yuan – it was 150 yuan per tent, not per person. The grassland at night was still very cold. On the second day, we set out early toward Jiuzhaigou Valley. We stopped and started along the way, taking in the scenery we had rushed past on the first day. We left early in the morning, so there were almost no cars. Jiudaoguai (Nine Turns) – drive carefully! When we arrived outside the scenic area, we didn't stay there; we stayed at a youth hostel. The environment was nice and not expensive. Again, the five of us squeezed into one room, and it was also around 100-something yuan per room. After checking in, the owner arranged something for 80 yuan per person. On the third day, we got up and headed to the scenic area gate, a ten-minute walk. The park started selling tickets at 7 a.m. There were quite a few visitors. We thought we had to buy tickets in advance, but it was a false alarm. We came out around 3:30 p.m. and drove straight back to Xinjin, arriving home at 11 p.m.
