Located in Taiping Town, Jiangkou County, Tongren City, Guizhou Province, Fanjing Mountain is characterized by its primeval and wild landscape. Here, the mountains are majestic, ranges upon ranges of peaks, and waterfalls cascade down.
Iconic attractions include: Hongyun Golden Summit, Yuejing Mountain, Wanjuan Jingshu, Jiulong Pool, Fenghuang Mountain, etc. It is also a Buddhist sacred site, one of the five famous Buddhist mountains in China, with many related cultural relics and attractions on the mountain.
Located in Xingshan County, Yichang City, Hubei Province, it is said to be named after the ancient deity Shennong, who built ladders to climb the mountains and gather herbs. Danxia is a landform landscape formed on extremely thick sediments in fault basins on the active continental margin of the Western Pacific. It is mainly composed of red sandstone and conglomerate, fully reflecting the systematic value of Danxia landforms in the subtropical humid region of China.
