After my friend and I visited Jiuzhaigou Zhongcha during the May Day holiday, many people said they knew Jiuzhaigou is famous but had never heard of Zhongcha, and asked me where Zhongcha is, whether it's fun, what the scenery and culture are like, and for tips if they wanted to go there. Not wanting to let down the red scarf on my chest (a symbol of doing good deeds), I'm sharing my guide with you all.

About getting there: Jiuzhaigou and Zhongcha are separated by just one mountain, about 8 kilometers apart, so it's a quick drive. If you're far from Jiuzhaigou Zhongcha, you can fly to Huanglong Airport, where there are direct buses to Jiuzhaigou Scenic Area. When taking the bus, you need to book a car in advance to make it easier to get to Zhongcha. You'll want to go to your hotel to drop off your luggage first; you can't carry your bags up and down slopes, haha.

About things to do: Don't dress too lightly when visiting Zhongcha Valley this season; the weather is quite cool. Along the road, you can see unique Tibetan ancient villages and fluttering prayer flags, which are full of distinctive Tibetan cultural vibes. Zhongcha has very high vegetation coverage, surrounded by lush fir forests and vast grasslands. Moreover, the terraced fields of the villages have many precious alpine plants: saffron, Chinese forget-me-not, Tibetan slipper orchid, wild cotton... These are all treasures of Zhongcha, not only beautiful but also very useful. The main residents there are Tibetan people, and their folk customs are simple and honest. Last time I went, I chatted with an elderly lady on the roadside. She said that originally many people here couldn't speak Chinese, only Tibetan, but now more and more people come to play here, and they have more communication, so they learned Chinese on their own. So friends who want to go don't need to worry about language barriers with the ethnic minorities.

About accommodation: Last time I stayed at the Jiuzhaigou Luneng Hilton Resort Hotel. I booked a room three days in advance. From the window, you can see forest and mountain scenery, and the bed was big and soft. They also provide lunch or dinner boxed meals that incorporate local Jiuzhaigou food characteristics, and they taste great. The hotel environment and room quality are very stylish, staying there feels as comfortable as being at home.

That's all the help from Lei Feng (a symbol of selfless help).

I feel like the red scarf on my chest is even brighter now~
