What's the hottest thing lately?

'The Bad Kids' is definitely the most popular web drama recently!

'Want to go hiking?'

Just these five words send chills down your spine and make you want to run away.

Even I, who usually don't watch dramas, binge-watched it overnight.

Everyone has more or less hidden corners in their hearts,

sometimes sunny, sometimes overcast.

So, when life hits a dead end,

let me take you to Aba Prefecture, full of breathtaking scenery,

to explore those beautiful hidden corners.

Want to soak in a free wild hot spring? Ji'yu Village in Mao County, Aba Prefecture hides a natural wild hot spring—just strip off and jump in!

Surrounded by mountains, this is a fantastic experience for adventure seekers. Since it hasn't been developed, bring your own water and food.

Buwa Village, Weizhou Town, Wenchuan County

'Buwa' in the Qiang language means 'people living on the clouds.' Thus, Buwa Village is also called 'Buwa on the Clouds,' one of the ancient Qiang villages in China.

Here you'll find spectacular seas of clouds like heavenly waterfalls, glorious dreamy sunshine on golden mountains, cool moon and sun together, and an observation deck at just 2,100 meters above sea level. This village in Wenchuan offers pristine beauty.

A 270-degree snow mountain viewing platform lets you gaze far into the distance: east to the peaks of Longmen Mountain, south to Big Snow Pond, west to Big and Small Snow Longbao and over a dozen other snowy peaks.

At the foot of Buwa Village lies Wenchuan County, where the Min River Valley and Zagunao River Valley meet. Towering mountains and deep valleys give you a commanding view—truly spectacular!

The village is small; you can walk it in less than an hour. On the road from the county to the village, there are some cherry orchards. Above the village, you'll find vast primeval forests and a local Happy Pasture.

SUVs can drive up to the primeval forest or the Happy Pasture, but sedans should proceed with caution.

Shapai Village, Miansi Town, Wenchuan County

Lamu Lake is located in Shapai Village, Miansi Town, Wenchuan County. From Chengdu, you can navigate directly to Shapai Village; it takes just over two hours by car.

It's a bit remote, with clear blue skies and amazing air—perfect for cleansing your lungs and breathing fresh oxygen!

At Lamu Lake, you can touch the holy alpine lake, gaze at snowy peaks, and enjoy the unique yellow stone beach.

On the way to Lamu Lake, there's a mysterious and primitive 'time tunnel.' As you drive through, you'll see the tunnel walls change from cement to grotto, with dim lights and a right-angle turn.

After emerging from the primitive tunnel, you're greeted by a peaceful little village and the serene Lamu Lake!

Jiuzi Village is located in Muka Township, Li County, Aba Prefecture, at an altitude of 2,600 meters. It's completely undeveloped, very primitive and rustic.

The old village on the mountain is now abandoned, with weathered Qiang houses bearing traces of ancient life.

Thanks to the unique terrain, after rain, the area is shrouded in mist, like a fairyland! If the weather is good, you'll see majestic snowy mountains everywhere you look.

The village is surrounded by mountains, with alpine meadows, cattle, sheep, and wildflowers. Next to the village is a large meadow where locals graze livestock, making it also suitable for camping.

As an undeveloped free attraction, it's worth a visit, but it really tests your driving skills—after all, the uphill road looks like this!

Puxi Township, Li County

Puxi Haizi (alpine lake) is hidden in Li County, like a shy bride, too modest to face the world's admiration, tucked away behind clouds and mist in the mountains.

Even if you've visited Li County many times, you might not have heard of or been to this place. It's a remote, undeveloped gem.

Like Jiuzhaigou, it was also hit by an earthquake. Surviving the disaster, this lake (a barrier lake) was formed. One part of the lake curves inward; if you stand on the opposite bank and shout, you'll hear echoes.

Puxi Haizi is located in Puxi Township, Li County, with well-preserved ecology—all forests, meadows, and streams. Perfect for getting close to nature.

The lake isn't large, but its emerald color is a highlight. When the sun is good, a gentle breeze makes the water sparkle—beautiful.

Maizha Township, Heishui County

Kalong Gully is located in Maizha Township, Heishui County, 310 km from Chengdu, just 70 km from Heishui County town. Its biggest feature is being primitive, natural, and well-preserved.

'Kalong' in Tibetan sounds like 'Kaluoluo' and means 'flower'; translated into Chinese, it means 'Flower Sea Gully.'

There's a legend about Kalong Gully: Long ago, three fairy maidens descended to the mortal world. Enchanted by the beauty, the eldest and second sisters transformed into Jiuzhaigou and Huanglong, while the youngest became Kalong. Just like mortals, the gods doted on the youngest, so Kalong combines the charm of Jiuzhaigou and the dreaminess of Huanglong.

Kalong Gully is perfect for a slow photo walk. Everything here is purely natural, with no obvious man-made carving marks. Even the wooden walkways are eco-friendly and respectful of the environment.

Dagou Village, Zengda Township, Jinchuan County

Cloud Top Flower Sea is located in Dagou Village, Zengda Township, Jinchuan County, surrounded by mountains. By day, you can admire flowers, clouds, and sunrise; by night, the moon and starry sky—an excellent spot for outdoor exploration and camping.

It's 26 km from Provincial Road S211, 73.2 km from Jinchuan County, with an average altitude of about 4,000 meters.

From June to September, azaleas, irises, asters, delphiniums, louseworts, and meconopsis bloom successively. Countless wildflowers at different altitudes create a gorgeous heavenly garden.

While enjoying flower seas, twilight, and colorful forests, you can also dig for fritillaria, ride horses, barbecue, pick wild mushrooms, eat yogurt, sip butter tea, set up tents to stargaze, have campfires and roast pheasants—experience a unique plateau life...

Just Across a Mountain from Jiuzhaigou

Not far from the bustling Jiuzhaigou, in Zhangzha Town, Jiuzhaigou County, separated by just one mountain, there's a valley that feels like a paradise—Zhongcha Gully.

Unlike Jiuzhaigou, named after its nine Tibetan villages, Zhongcha Gully gets its name from Tibetan, meaning 'place where the divine eagle descends.'

Hidden here are five authentic Tibetan villages. After Jiuzhaigou relocated almost all its villages for protection, Zhongcha's retained villages become the best place for tourists to explore Tibetan village culture.

Here, there are no excited crowds; the only sound is the murmuring creek, sometimes flowing deep, sometimes splashing in the sunlight.

This is what the water has looked like for a thousand years or more—unchanged, just as it always was.

1. These are niche attractions with limited materials. Interested friends need to discover more beauty on their own. I'm just sharing, not recommending.

2. Due to persistent heavy rain and poor weather, landslides have occurred in many parts of Aba Prefecture, disrupting traffic. Those planning to go into the mountains should pay close attention to road conditions and take protective measures!

Aba Prefecture is vast and rich,

hiding countless hidden corners.

While you're young, invite friends or family

to experience the myriad facets of life!
