Endless National Day Wonders in Magical Jiuzhaigou

Over a hundred haizi are like multicolored jade basins of a fairy pool. No matter how many water scenes you have seen, they all pale in comparison to Jiuzhai. The joy of this landscape can only be truly experienced by coming to Jiuzhai.
Jiuzhaigou Tourist Transportation Route 1:
Chengdu – Dujiangyan City – Wenchuan – Mao County – Songpan, along the way there are Dujiangyan, Qingcheng Front and Back Mountains, Diexi Haizi, and other scenic spots. You can buy Mao County apples. It is about 393 km to Huanglong Temple and 440 km to Jiuzhaigou. This road is well-maintained and is the route most people take.
Jiuzhaigou Tourist Transportation Route 2:
Chengdu – Wenchuan – Li County – Miyaluo – Hongyuan – Waqie – Chuanzhusi, the route is longer but the road is wide, safe, and comfortable. Along the way you can enjoy magnificent grassland scenery, watch the Qiang girls' "cable-slide," and experience the exotic Tibetan countryside. The road distance is about 702 km.
Jiuzhaigou Tourist Transportation Route 3:
Take the Baoji-Chengdu Railway to Jiangyou Station, then transfer to a bus via Pingwu and Wen County, Gansu to Jiuzhaigou County. Along the way, visit Doutuan Mountain, Li Bai Memorial, Haideng Martial Arts Hall, Bao'en Temple, and other scenic spots. The road distance is about 303 km.
Jiuzhaigou Tourist Transportation Route 4:
Take the Baoji-Chengdu Railway to Guangyuan (or Zhaohua), then transfer to a bus via Wen County, Gansu to Jiuzhaigou County. Along the way, there are Guangyuan Ancient City, Zhaohua Ancient City, Huangze Temple, Thousand Buddha Cliff, Jianmen Shudao, Bikou Reservoir, Ancient Yinping Road, etc. The road distance is about 308 km. This road is an unpaved road and prone to landslides during the rainy season.
Jiuzhaigou Tourist Transportation Route 5:
Take the Baoji-Chengdu Railway to Lueyang Station, then transfer to a bus via Cheng County, Wudu, Wen County, and Jiuzhaigou County. The road distance is about 441 km. Along the way, there is the rare large karst cave in northwestern China—Wudu Wanxiang Cave.
Jiuzhaigou Tourist Transportation Route 6:
Take the Longhai Railway to Tianshui Station, then transfer to a bus via Wudu, Wen County, and Jiuzhaigou County. The road distance is about 546 km. Along the way, there are Maijishan Grottoes, Shimen Scenic Area, Cheng County Du Fu Thatched Cottage, Western Han Cliff Inscription (Huanglong Stele), and other scenic spots.
Jiuzhaigou Tourist Transportation Route 7:
Lanzhou – Gannan – Western Sichuan – Jiuzhaigou, a full bus route. Depart from Lanzhou via Langmusi, Zoige (Ruoergai), and Chuanzhusi. Along the way, there are Liujiaxia Reservoir, Bingling Temple Grottoes, Labrang Monastery, Sangke Grassland, the Great Bend of the Yellow River, Songpan Grassland, and other scenic spots. This route is longer but the roads are straight and flat, with strong Tibetan, Qiang, and Hui ethnic flavors, making it an excellent route for inlanders to enter Jiuzhaigou. Lanzhou–Xiahe: one bus at 2:00 PM. The morning bus time is unclear; ticket price 45 yuan (it is said that the West Bus Station has two buses at 7:30 and 8:30 AM). About 240 km (some say 309 km), journey 4-5 hours. Xiahe–Langmusi: the bus from Xiahe to Langmusi departs at 7:40 AM daily, ticket price 44 yuan. Langmusi–Zoige: the bus from Langmusi to Zoige departs at 7:00 AM daily, only one bus, ticket price 20 yuan. Full distance 84 km. Zoige–Songpan: the bus from Zoige to Songpan departs at 6:30 AM daily, only one bus, ticket price over 40 yuan. Full distance 162 km (you can also get off at Chuanzhusi). Songpan–Jiuzhaigou: under normal circumstances, Songpan has three buses to Jiuzhaigou every day at 7:00, 11:30, and 13:00. Full distance 104 km, takes about 2 hours to arrive.
Warm Tips:
Once inside the valley, you can take eco-friendly sightseeing buses. These sightseeing buses use natural gas as fuel and are virtually pollution-free. After purchasing a ticket and entering the valley, you can get off or on at any location. The buses stop when hailed, making it very convenient.
The current ticket prices for Jiuzhaigou Scenic Area are: adult ticket 259/person, student ticket 175/person, senior ticket (60-64) 90/person, military ticket 90/person, children free. Actual prices are subject to the official announcement by the Jiuzhaigou Administration.
