Proud! Jiuzhaigou County in Aba Prefecture Listed Again, Receives National Honor!

Five more places in Sichuan have been listed on the national list, with Jiuzhaigou County in Aba Prefecture among them!

On November 18, the official website of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism published the 'Announcement of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism on the Publicity of the Second Batch of National All-for-One Tourism Demonstration Zones.' Among the listed places, five counties (cities, districts) in Sichuan made the list: Mianzhu City in Deyang City, Chongzhou City in Chengdu City, Jinjiang District in Chengdu City, Shizhong District in Leshan City, and Jiuzhaigou County in Aba Tibetan and Qiang Autonomous Prefecture!

'After visiting Mount Huang, no other mountain is worth seeing; after visiting Jiuzhaigou, no other water is worth seeing.'

Jiuzhaigou is China's first nature reserve primarily aimed at protecting natural scenery.

It is a famous scenic area in China and a model of national civilized scenic tourist spots.

It was inscribed on the World Natural Heritage List in 1992.

The second batch of national all-for-one tourism demonstration zones.

This place, known as a 'fairy tale world,'

has once again captured national attention.

'Heavenly paradise, earthly Jiuzhaigou'

Heavenly paradise, earthly Jiuzhaigou—Jiuzhaigou has been a heaven that people have yearned for since ancient times.

Jiuzhaigou, located in Zhangzha Town, Jiuzhaigou County, Aba Tibetan and Qiang Autonomous Prefecture, is a tributary of the Bai River in the upper reaches of Baishui Gully. It is named after the nine Tibetan villages within.

It is hailed by the world as a 'fairy tale world' and 'so beautiful it seems not of this world.' Its picturesque green mountains and dreamlike lakes have earned it the title 'King of Water Scenery' and the saying 'After visiting Jiuzhaigou, no other water is worth seeing.'

It is the only tourist destination in China to receive two international honors: 'World Natural Heritage' and 'World Biosphere Reserve.'

The average altitude here is over 2,000 meters. With vast virgin forests, 108 lakes, and crystal-clear streams like necklaces threading through forests, lakes, and shoals.

Within the valley, Tibetan wooden houses, prayer flag racks, plank bridges, mill houses, and other elements appear seemingly casually, blending seamlessly with the ethereal natural scenery, adding a touch of human warmth to Jiuzhaigou's fairy-tale atmosphere.

As the seasons turn and the sun rises and sets, Jiuzhaigou's four seasons are composed of the 'Six Wonders': Emerald Lakes, Layered Waterfalls, Colorful Forests, Snow Peaks, Tibetan Customs, and Blue Ice, forming a magnificent fairy tale world.

'Early Winter in Jiuzhaigou, Exquisite Scenery'

Winter in Jiuzhaigou is exceptionally beautiful. The clear, transparent water surface carries a cool yet warm feeling, like a pure sapphire fallen to earth, quietly showcasing its unique colors.

Falling snow drifts and layers of rendering create jade trees and ice flowers on the slopes, silver-clad landscapes, while in the ravines, green waters and clear waves, layered waterfalls and flowing radiance make one feel as if in a pure and elegant ink-wash world...

A cloak of white snow, a pool of blue spring, together with the rising sun, Jiuzhaigou enters a fairy tale kingdom paved with snow.

This wonder is more like a painting from an artist's brush, amidst the snow-covered mountains and forests, following the sun's trajectory, offering a winter chapter to the world.

The heavier the snow, the more beautiful Jiuzhaigou becomes, like a fairyland from another world.

Every mountain forest tells the poetry of the fairyland, every lake adorns the dreams of heaven, every waterfall gathers the imagination of early winter. Now, Jiuzhaigou's ice and snow turn into magic, spreading over every corner of Jiuzhaigou.

'Jiuzhaigou, Not Just Jiuzhaigou'

There is a saying among the people: In Sichuan, the beauty lies in western Sichuan; in western Sichuan, the beauty lies in Jiuzhaigou. When mentioning Jiuzhaigou in the past, people seemed to only know the Jiuzhaigou scenic area. But what the editor wants to say is: There is only one Jiuzhaigou in the world, and Jiuzhaigou is not just Jiuzhaigou!

Jiawu Pond, located over 30 kilometers from Jiuzhaigou County town in Wujiao Township, is part of the Wujiao Nature Reserve, an undeveloped primitive ecological scenic area.

Also in Jiuzhaigou County, compared to the famous Jiuzhaigou Scenic Area, Jiawu Pond is like a little fairy, quietly beautiful season after season.

Except for locals, few outside tourists set foot here. The forest is so still it takes your breath away, and even the dripping of raindrops from leaves is distinctly clear.

Nen'ensangcuo (Shenxian Pool)

Shenxian Pool is known as 'the place where fairies bathe,' facing the Jiuzhaigou Scenic Area from afar, equally enchanting visitors.

Those who have been there say it is a condensed version of Jiuzhaigou and Huanglong. It is also a filming location for Huang Xiaoming's version of 'The Return of the Condor Heroes'! The entire scenic area is not large, with a visiting time of about 2 hours.

At an altitude of only over 2,000 meters, Shenxian Pool is more primitive than Jiuzhaigou, more hidden deep in the mountains, giving a feeling of delicate beauty.

Jiuzhaigou Panda Garden

Jiuzhaigou Giant Panda Garden, also known as Jiuzhaigou County Jiawu Sea Giant Panda Conservation and Research Park, is a pilot project of the national giant panda park system, located within the Wujiao Giant Panda Nature Reserve in Jiuzhaigou County, at an average altitude of 2,380 meters.

The Wujiao Giant Panda Nature Reserve is home to 26 species of nationally protected animals and over 10 precious tree species. The reserve features beautiful alpine lakes and vast virgin forests, with equally stunning scenery.

Jiuzhaigou Love Sea

Jiuzhaigou Love Sea is located in Ganhaizi Village, Zhangzha Town, Jiuzhaigou County, and consists of a group of lakes: Golden Rhino Lake, Fragrant Grass Lake, and Nine-Bend Colorful River.

The scenic area includes popular photo spots such as the hazy love arch, folk customs eternal tower, happy prayer wheels, fate prayer flags, colorful plank roads, mountain pavilion, and flying in pairs.

Baihe Golden Monkey Nature Reserve

Baihe Golden Monkey Nature Reserve is located on the eastern foot of the southern section of Minshan Mountain, northeast of Gonggang Ridge, with a total area of about 20,000 hectares. It is a reserve primarily focused on protecting golden monkeys.

It is home to the world's largest population of Sichuan golden monkeys, approximately 2,000 individuals. The scenic area has five monkey-viewing spots equipped with high-power telescopes and video recording equipment, allowing visitors to observe wild Sichuan golden monkeys, as well as primitive forests and snow-capped mountain gorges.
