On September 23, the Information Office of the Sichuan Provincial People's Government held a press conference at the Chengdu Jinjiang Hotel, where it announced that the 2021 Sichuan Culture and Tourism Development Conference, the 7th China (Sichuan) International Tourism Investment Conference, and the Ceremony for the Full Reopening of Jiuzhaigou Scenic Area will be held on September 28 in Jiuzhaigou County, Aba Prefecture.
Jiuzhaigou County, as the main venue of this Sichuan Culture and Tourism Development Conference, is world-famous for the Jiuzhaigou Scenic Area, known as a "fairyland on earth."
Luo Zhenhua, Deputy Secretary of the Aba Prefecture Committee and Governor of the Aba Prefecture People's Government, introduced that the conference will follow the requirements of "internationalization, high-end, specialization, and smartification," showcasing the new image of "Panda Homeland · Pure Land Aba" in all aspects, with three major features: "international style," "Bashu flavor," and "ethnic charm."
After more than three years of restoration and reconstruction, Jiuzhaigou's basic supporting facilities have been further improved, tourism services have been upgraded, and smart scenic spots have achieved new breakthroughs. A new pattern of all-area tourism centered on Jiuzhaigou Scenic Area, with a "one core, multiple poles" structure, has basically taken shape.
What new changes will Jiuzhaigou have after its "makeup touch-up" return? Zhao Demeng, Director of the Jiuzhaigou Administration, said that there are three main changes in Jiuzhaigou: first, safety has been fully guaranteed; second, the landscape has been quickly restored; third, services have been comprehensively improved.
It is reported that during the conference, Jiuzhaigou County will also launch 12 new scenic spots and attractions, 7 boutique tourist routes, and 17 rural tourism complexes, achieving a transformation from spot tourism to all-area tourism that links scattered pearls into a string, and from traditional sightseeing to comprehensive three-dimensional tourism of 'tourism+'.
