Irresistible Strong Start! Two More National 4A Scenic Spots Added in Aba Prefecture, Congratulations!

On February 16, 2022,
the Provincial Tourism Resources Planning and Development Quality Evaluation Committee
approved the Lianbao Yeze·Stone Mountain Scenic Area in Aba County
and the Love Sea Scenic Area in Jiuzhaigou County
to be established as national 4A-level tourist attractions,
marking a strong start for the tourism industry of our prefecture in 2022.
The successful establishment of these two 4A scenic spots has upgraded the quality of tourist attractions in our prefecture, launched a new journey of high-quality development for the tourism industry, and further promoted the creation of a whole-region tourism demonstration zone. Congratulations!
Our prefecture has a total of 55 A-level scenic spots,
including 3 5A-level scenic spots, 26 4A-level scenic spots,
24 3A-level scenic spots, and 2 2A-level scenic spots.

Lianbao Yeze·Stone Mountain Scenic Area in Aba County
Now, Lianbao Yeze·Stone Mountain is both a national 4A-level tourist attraction and a provincial-level ecotourism demonstration area.
"Lianbao Yeze" means "Dignified Jade Peak" in Chinese. It is located in the southeastern part of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, a branch of the southern section of the Bayan Har Mountains, situated between Aba County in Sichuan Province and Jiuzhi County and Banma County in Qinghai Province, covering a total area of about 500 square kilometers, 60 kilometers from the county seat of Aba.
"Lianbao Yeze" is a famous sacred mountain in the Tibetan region, ranking eighth among the ten sacred mountains of the Tibetan area and first among all sacred mountains in the Amdo region. The highest altitude within the area is 5,141 meters, with an average altitude of peaks above 4,000 meters.
"Lianbao Yeze" is a representative natural scenic area of glacial relics, snow-capped lakes, and bizarre peaks and rocks in a mountain ecosystem. It has successively won titles such as National Geopark, "China's Most Promising New Scenery," and "Most Anticipated Tourist Destination in 2017."
It is the best destination for sightseeing, photography, exploration, scientific research, mountaineering, and characteristic ecotourism.
It is a leading scenic area mainly focused on exploring glacial relics, crossing stone castles, getting close to sacred mountains and holy lakes, listening to the legend of Gesar, and experiencing drone sightseeing.
Love Sea Scenic Area in Jiuzhaigou County
The establishment of the Love Sea Scenic Area in Jiuzhaigou County as a national 4A-level tourist attraction has achieved an upgrade from 3A to 4A.
The Love Sea Scenic Area is located in Zhangza Town, Jiuzhaigou County, only 25 kilometers from the Jiuzhaigou Scenic Area and 60 kilometers from Jiuhuang Airport. The roads are wide and accessible in all directions. The planned area is 143.3 hectares, one of the core areas of Jiuzhai National Forest Park.
Within the scenic area, there is a lake group consisting of Golden Rhino Lake, Fragrant Grass Lake, and Nine-Bend Colorful River, a strongly designed hazy love arch, and a folk-custom-including Eternal Tower, Happy Prayer Wheel, and Marriage Banner.
Along the way, there is also a Love Gas Station in the sea of flowers for tourists to rest, as well as photo-check-in spots like the Colorful Boardwalk, Lanshanwu, and Flying Side by Side. The area includes a网红 transparent boat rafting area, a horseback riding path with a strong experience, and extreme challenge jungle crossing and other entertainment projects.
Even more surprising is that Huang Xiaoming's version of "The Return of the Condor Heroes" had over 100 scenes shot at places like the Heartbreak Valley in Ganhaizi, small wooden houses, and meadows.
Here, the distant mountains are layered, the forests are dense, the streams meander through the lakes, and the grass is lush, covering the ground like a velvet carpet. In summer and autumn, wildflowers dot the landscape, and cattle, sheep, horses, and mules gather in herds. In winter and spring, it turns into a deep yellow, contrasting with the surrounding snow-capped mountains and red leaves, creating a beautiful scene.
In the final year of the "13th Five-Year Plan," Ganhaizi, as one of the important nodes of whole-region tourism, has become an important tourist destination integrating wedding photography, mountain sports, leisure vacations, and summer retreat and health preservation.
