Jiuzhaigou
The mountains of Jiuzhaigou are so picturesque! On one side of the slope, a white cliff is exposed. This cliff is so pure and flawless, just like a piece of snow-white rice paper. On this white paper, nature has painted: in the azure sky, white clouds drift, each with different shapes and ever-changing forms. On the cliff, nature uses ink lines to outline a few slender strokes. Verdant pines cling to the cliff in various poses: some arch their backs and raise their hands as if welcoming visitors from afar; some lean upward like rock climbers; some stand upright on the cliff like valiant warriors...
On the other side of the mountain, it is lush green everywhere, without a trace of white. The whole mountain seems to be dressed in a green skirt, adorned with wildflowers and woods of other colors. The mountain in this skirt looks like a young maiden in her prime, elegant and graceful, making visitors stop and gaze in fascination.
The water of the Five-Color Pond is so peaceful and serene. Walking along, you see a colorful pond from afar—the Five-Color Pond. Bright orange, gorgeous peach red, mysterious fluorescent green, and gem-like blue dye the pool into a strange floral fabric. Looking at this multicolored water, I can't help but wonder: which careless fairy was it? When descending to the mortal world, she was so careless that she knocked over the heavenly palette, allowing these marvelous colors to come to earth, attracting countless admirers. Though the Five-Color Pond has many colors, it is not murky; it is as clear as a mirror, making visitors compare their reflections, as if the beautiful water makes every face more beautiful. At the bottom of the pond, fallen tree trunks lie entangled, forming an underwater "reclining dragon" picture. When a breeze passes, tiny ripples spread across the surface, rippling and swirling in the water.
The Pearl Shoal Waterfall is different. It is not quiet at all, like a wild child, constantly rushing forward. Sometimes it resembles a flood dragon: roaring and surging, pounding the rocks; sometimes it leaps down from the cliff, splashing huge sprays; sometimes it is as thin as a silver snake, as if tired from play, quietly gliding in the shoal, gently caressing the cliff rocks, softly jumping down, splashing tiny droplets that sparkle like brilliant pearls in the sunlight.
The people of Jiuzhaigou are warm and joyful. The hospitable Tibetan people bring you to their home, serve highland barley wine, and present large plates of mutton, toasting and singing. After dinner, everyone gathers to sing and dance, how lively!
As the sun sets, we bid farewell to the warm Tibetans, and amidst laughter and songs, we reluctantly left this earthly paradise—Jiuzhaigou.
