"Yue" Encounters Fairy Tale World – 2024 Jiuzhaigou Promotion Conference Held in Guangzhou, Inviting Greater Bay Area Tourists for Summer Vacation
On June 18, the "Yue" Encounters Fairy Tale World – 2024 Jiuzhaigou Promotion Event was held at Guangzhou Yuehui City. The event invited over a hundred guests, including representatives from the Guangdong Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism, major travel agencies in Guangzhou, the Self-Driving Tourism Association, the Photography Association, cultural tourism enterprises, and media journalists from Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macau, who gathered together to discuss the friendly bond of "constant mutual visits" and to plan collaborative development that is "ever fresh and ever new."
At the promotion conference, the Jiuzhaigou Scenic Area Administration and Jiuzhaigou County respectively gave presentations, detailing Jiuzhaigou’s natural landscapes, cultural features, and tourism services. Through exciting promotional videos and vivid explanations, the guests and citizens present felt as if they were actually there, experiencing the mystery and beauty of Jiuzhaigou.
The promotion covered Jiuzhaigou’s tourism resources, travel routes, and specialty tourism products, offering a wide range of travel options for enthusiasts. Among these, the "Six Wonders" of Jiuzhaigou Scenic Area – Emerald Lakes, Tiered Waterfalls, Colorful Forests, Snow Peaks, Tibetan Customs, and Blue Ice – captured the interest of many travel operators, journalists, and Guangzhou citizens. Jiuzhaigou County also unveiled several new all-region tourism business cards, such as "Essence of Jiuhuang, Land of Immortals," "Romantic Destination, Outdoor Paradise," "Eye of Jiuzhaigou, Panda Paradise," and "Elf Valley, Science Education Base," sincerely welcoming residents of the Greater Bay Area to appreciate the beauty of Jiuzhaigou, feel its charm, enjoy its delights, and seek opportunities therein.
Notably, to give back to the strong support of travel agencies, Jiuzhaigou Scenic Area specially introduced preferential measures: the top five travel agencies (operators) in annual group tour rankings that purchase 10,000 full-price tickets during peak season will receive 100 complimentary tickets for the off-season; those who purchase 100 full-price tickets in the off-season will receive 10 complimentary tickets for the peak season.
At the promotion event, a series of ethnic performances took the stage, including the Qiang flute performance "Soul of Qiang," dance "Sea of Snowland Songs and Dances," "Finger Song," and the song "Beautiful Pure Land Aba." These performances showcased the simple and passionate charm of Tibetan and Qiang cultures, immersing everyone in joyful ethnic music and dance. Additionally, interactive games such as WeChat raffles and shake-to-win were held, offering 100 tickets to Jiuzhaigou Scenic Area to the audience on the spot.
