Eastern Tibet brings together Tibet's most important cultural and natural tourism resources, from Sapu Sacred Mountain to the mysterious skull wall of Dam Temple, from the Three-Color Lake to the majestic Yarlung Tsangpo.

Sera Monastery lies on the southern slope of Wuzi Mountain north of Lhasa, about six kilometers from downtown. Several bus routes serve it, making transportation very convenient.

On Barkhor North Street in Lhasa's old town stands the 'Qing Government Imperial Resident's Office', a courtyard with over three centuries of history. It was the site of the earliest Qing Imperial Resident's office in Tibet.

Notes 1) Clothing: Tibet's weather is cool in the morning and evening, hot at noon, and sometimes even colder around Lhasa, so be sure to pack both light and warm clothes.
